HOW TO PARTICIPATE: You may enter the contest one time only per month either by completing the online entry form and providing your first name and a valid email address (limit one online entry per person and per email address) or by sending postal mail to us at:

All entries must be received by the last day of the
month in order to qualify for the current months drawing. If an entrant
uses multiple email addresses to submit more than one online entry,
only the first entry will count. The prize winners will be selected by
a random drawing the first week of each month. Merida is not
responsible for entries that are late, lost, or misdirected and
reserves the right to modify scheduling of the contest drawing dates
without prior notice.
NOTIFICATION: The prize winners will be notified by email on or before the 7th of each month. Winners will be asked to complete an online winner acceptance form. This form ensures we have a valid postal mailing address to ship the rug prize. Failure to complete the winner acceptance form within 14 days makes the winning entry null and void. The 30 day start time commences the day your winning notification is mailed to you by Merida. This requirement applies regardless if the notification email was sent to a spam folder, was accidentally deleted, or otherwise not received by you for any reason. Merida does not take responsibility for lost or misdirected emails sent to the email address you provided at the time you completed the online entry form. Alternate winner(s) are chosen after 30 days.
Winners of the free rug contest agree to let Merida use your name and testimonials to promote this site. You agree that if you win, you will be required to provide a testimonial for this website within 14 days of being notified. Your picture may be used if you agree, but use of a picture is not required by these terms.
ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to adult residents of the U.S. and its territories, possessions and commonwealths and to the residents of Canada which are 18 years old and above except in Quebec and where prohibited.
Employees and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) of Merida are NOT ELIGIBLE. All participants and/or entrants release Merida and their agents, advertising and promotion agencies, affiliated companies, contest partners and prize suppliers, and all of their respective affiliated companies and employees, from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant's participation and/or entry in the contest and/or their receipt or use of any prize awarded in this contest.
Any and all warranties and guarantees are subject to
Merida manufacturing terms and conditions. This contest is governed by
U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void
where prohibited by law.
CONDITIONS: Merida, its participating sponsors and organizations, state agencies, officers, employees and agents are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury from entering the contest or acceptance and use of any Merida main, bonus or grand prize item. By submitting an entry, participants accept and agree to these rules and the decisions of Merida which shall be final. Winners assume complete liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this contest, or the use or misuse of any prizes. Merida reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend this contest should causes beyond the control of Merida corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest. Winners will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release, which must be completed and returned via email at the time the winner provides mailing information. Taxes, handling and postal fees are the responsibility of Merida. By accepting a prize, winner grants Merida permission for the use of his/her first initial, complete last name and state of residence for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited. Contest Timeline:
- Enter only one time through the Merida online contest entry form.
- Check your email for the contest confirmation email and confirm.
- Receive your welcome and contest information email from us.
- Winners are chosen within 7 days of the close of the contest month.
- Winner email announcement and winner codes are emailed.
- Winner fills out their online shipping information within 14 days.
- Main prizes are mailed on or near the 30th of each month.
