Founded during the Civil War, Boston’s Union Club, located in Beacon Hill near the state house, is a meeting place, social group, and home away from home for members looking to network with other professionals and grow their circle of friends and acquaintances. The Club is located in a beautiful row house with parlors, dining and meeting rooms and quaint guest lodging. The 11 bedrooms offer members and their guests a comfortable and home-like alternative to hotel rooms for short stays in the Boston area. The Club has undergone substantial renovations and currently, several guest rooms are being redecorated with the help of member John DeBastiani, a Boston and Los Angeles-based interior designer who is a big fan of Merida. See the photos below of one of the first redecorated guest rooms, featuring a Merida Jacquard Diamond rug in Belgian Chocolate.
