We are currently searching for a Production Management Assistant to be responsible for the administrative and operational aspect of our manufacturing facility located in Fall River, MA.

Key Activities:
• Manage order reports and update production schedules to ensure timely and accurate shipping,
• Work with floor supervisors to help execute daily production goals
• Assist plant manager on planning production schedule
• Actively participate in identifying and implementing improvements to all aspects of the Fall River operation
• Manage purchasing in order to maintain adequate stock of all products/materials necessary for production
• Keep an updated list of vendors
• Get multiple bids for every supply needed
• Keep track of stock and make sure they are replenished as necessary for effective purchasing
• Schedule visits for machine maintenance
• Communicate with vendors regarding purchase order status, track open PO's, etc.
• Manage shipping and receiving process including verifying accuracy of receipts, preparing shipping documents, and scheduling pickups and deliveries

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company in similar function
• Must be highly motivated with a very strong sense of urgency
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Thorough with exceptional attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and excellent team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good experience with computer and ability to quickly learn new software
